Today: Step 106 - There are no Masters living in the world.
(MP3)
Greetings All –

a.m. Process, planning, people – my role – I need not say the Key point, ask
the key question, what counts is the process –
8:30
a.m. Hostile environment – thank you Bev and Steve for enlightening me on the
concept of the creation of a “Hostile environment" …
What
counts is the regional community – the Regional Council can play a role – but
the community is greater.
…
9:18
a.m. I am awake in a great flow of energy/ideas when I want to capture as much
as I can – the amazement of looking at the bodybuilders – how that is both
physical and mental – so I watched with a new respect, a new perspective→ and gained
inspiration for my small part –
I'm
always amazed that some souls get it more directly – and others must labor. God
does not hide the creation from us. It is accessible by our senses.
…
→ open design – Region – Linux – a public corporate
database – aligned on regional geography
→ one reality – your neighbors may not be your peers
– but because you share boundaries – you need to cooperate –
9:11
p.m. In my study – to do the weeks long review. Where am I? Went to the final
Battlefield Commission meeting @ New Market – the solution – The Shenandoah
National Battlefields Foundation – a private nonprofit – the solution developed
in 1995 – came to be. The PDC role was not mentioned, but I reminded people of
it…and again found a good response to "Regional Intelligence."
9:28
p.m. Step 105 – Review – Text says "Understand that these ideas must be
entertained and experienced through many stages of development."
I
hear and see so much in the world. It is joyful – yet I'm alone here. I isolate
in order to study.
→for insight and
emotional growth, this is been a good week – yesterday – beyond any
expectations, yet I know there is much more ahead.
The
text says: "Our teaching will thus simplify all things, which will resolve
the conflicts that you carry now and which will make conflict in the future
unnecessary. For to the extent that you are with Knowledge, conflict does not
exist. An unconflicted life is the greatest contribution that can be given into
the world, for this is a life that will spark the beginning of Knowledge in
all, a spark that can carry itself into the future far beyond your individual
life. It is this great spark that you are intended to give into the
world…"
An
unconflicted life – how does one get there?
"This
is your greater purpose in life: to Keep Knowledge – (Holy Spirit) alive in the
world – but first to learn, complete lessons
10:24
p.m. – I've quite a ways to go for an unconflicted life –
10:53
p.m. The long practices done. A distance to go – there is. And I shall continue
to follow the path to becoming "unconflicted." That has to mean
something other than "not caring."
Getting a little deeper on the Steps, but not as
far as one can go. We’re told: “Allow
confusion and uncertainty to exist, for this is necessary in this stage of
investigation.” Next we are reminded
in Step 106 - “There
are no Masters living in the world.” We went through this the first year. It still
must be true. Let us continue.

Note: If you’ve some interest due to this or other
Steps, you should go to the beginning blog post. From here you will learn about Steps to Knowledge
and can begin it on the day that makes sense; then progress as needed. You can
use the posts on this blog as a companion if it helps. They will remain in
order in the archives - one post per Step.
Often it takes 18 months to get through the Steps
once. For this blog, the pace is one-a-day, but it really makes no difference
how fast you do it, only that you begin, persist and repeat. Posts here provide
a trail that may let you have a virtual companion when and if you want one. One
may have to study alone, as I did in the beginning. There are other Steps
students blogging their experience and you might find a person more like you as
a companion, or use a number of such Steps journeys. There are options as well
through the Free School of the New Message.
