x2 Step 113 – Journal Step 112 – Review

Today: Step 113 - I will not be persuaded by others. (MP3)

Greetings All –

From the journal Step 112 – Review

6:05 a.m. Saturday, December 9, 2000

Spiritual Sanity is what I seek. Every path has internal conflicts. Anything can be justified by single mind/group mind. I was only…, We were only… and error can be culturally institutionalized. This can be put into human law – but the rule of law, as established in the U.S. Constitution puts a correcting method to work to undo the errors.

Easy Vision –

8:43 a.m. To get past the Commission and continue to use it as a framework for Regional Community.

9 p.m. GCW says don't run out and create something new – use what is in place. I'm advocating "regional intelligence" be applied through current organizations to improve quality of what exists – I'm in Rotary, AARP, planning – promote the use of regions – regional alignment and their programs.

I've always seen greater value in the regional network of Virginia than others.

Infrastructure creates opportunity
investment creates infrastructure
maintenance sustains the perpetual benefits of infrastructure

Although the Step only required the hourly repeat of “I will remember Knowledge. I will remember Knowledge,” the index cards of major points had been done:

We’ve been on this journey before. We are yet to be one-third through the second passage through Steps. Confusion is still a common feeling, be we know that is not really a reason to stop. We must continue, so let us willingly continue.

Note: If you’ve some interest due to this or other Steps, you should go to the beginning blog post. From here you will learn about Steps to Knowledge and can begin it on the day that makes sense; then progress as needed. You can use the posts on this blog as a companion if it helps. They will remain in order in the archives - one post per Step.

Often it takes 18 months to get through the Steps once. For this blog, the pace is one-a-day, but it really makes no difference how fast you do it, only that you begin, persist and repeat. Posts here provide a trail that may let you have a virtual companion when and if you want one. One may have to study alone, as I did in the beginning. There are other Steps students blogging their experience and you might find a person more like you as a companion, or use a number of such Steps journeys. There are options as well through the Free School of the New Message.
