I will learn to accept the responsibility of carrying Knowledge in the world. Step 282

 

CARRYING KNOWLEDGE IN THE WORLD requires responsibility. Your responsibility is to follow Knowledge and to learn to express Knowledge adequately and purposefully. In this, your human abilities will need to be cultivated and elevated. Discernment and all the other qualities of value within yourself will need to be cultivated as well, for you must learn to express that which you carry. You must learn to follow it and become a worthy vehicle for it. This is the true meaning of all individual development. This is where individual development has genuine purpose. This is where your growth and advancement have direction as well.

THEREFORE, ALLOW YOURSELF TO EXPERIENCE THE MEANING of today’s idea. Allow yourself to accept responsibility. It is not a weight upon your shoulders. It is a rite of passage for you, and in this all things that have confused and frustrated you within yourself will be given a new and purposeful application. Realize that Knowledge carries responsibility. In this, you need to treat it with the seriousness that it requires, and yet with this seriousness, you receive the greatness and the peace that it will render to you. Over time, you will become a very, very finely-tuned vehicle for Knowledge in the world. In this, all things that require development will find development, and all things which merely hinder your progress will be relinquished.

IN YOUR DEEPER PRACTICES IN STILLNESS TODAY, recognize that you have a responsibility to cultivate your faculties of mind as a student of Knowledge. Exercise these responsibilities and do not drift away into imagination. Engage yourself as a student of Knowledge according to the requirements of your preparation, for you are now becoming a person of responsibility and a person of power.

10:23 a.m. – Today expand horizon – in beginning focus on self to see where energy is being lost

– until we branch beyond ourselves to the world there is no context for Knowledge to emerge in the world

→ personal is not a context for K

→ the times demand a short runway now

→ K relationship is dynamic in the world

→ need a big bridge to the world –

2:17 p.m. On the side of a mountain. The exercise is contemplation. We are to return by 4 p.m.

The thoughts: "What is my preparation for? What will it require of me?"

The first has emerged strongly in the past five years, more so with S2K clearing away the metaphysical welfare system.

My question at the end of the morning session – Why do I care about humanity? Do I want a better, safer future because I'll reincarnate and need it to be nice on earth?

Is it a biodiversity thing? Is it the Shenandoah Valley gentrification thing on a larger scale? The GC/allies say the wise remain hidden.

[In that scenario] → We've lost already on the intervention? I see regional community building as a foundation for the comeback. Marshall implied/said there aren't that many teachers – we share them (?) Not all have teachers.

It seems clear that we cannot go back to tribal – unless – populations are decimated.

The sense I get from the Allies – is that the collectives would be happy to carve us up, trade us, use us like Africa and South America –

Stranger in a Strange land, stranger in a beautiful land. The strangeness is not the flora and fauna – it is the humans. The cultures and civilizations. Their relationships.

6:38 p.m. I have just completed Practice #2 after Marshall's presentation 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. He talked about our contemplation exercise…went into relationships and then – after talking about the Allies in the challenge of the work…I asked if our civilization would fail? He said it would be turned over. I said I saw the scenario of the teaching going underground as humanity tried to regain its independence as per the example in Allies of Humanity.

In my meditation these things came to me. They are simple – but not easy. Humanity is the only thing that can save humanity.

You can't wait for 60,000,000 to get Steps. You could get that many to say we choose our Humanity over E. T.

Killing or attacking another is attacking all humanity.

The mental forces of humanity needs to concentrate on cloaking earth – it is only single-minded humanity that can save humanity, set us as sovereign in order to deal with representatives of the greater community.

This feels so militaristic/strategic – (because defense is! 5/29/01)

Alfredo's lesson – WW-II of not speaking out –

Attacking the Jews was attacking humanity – the precursor of worse things to come. This is something I must speak out upon. Religion and politics – we all have that – all cultures – w/o believing each – if we can accept that, like we use cars, that humanity needs this – the world networked as humanity – can defend/cloak mentally and resist –

– All the global meditations are bringing in externals, rather than keeping them out.

– local isolates – we need to isolate/shield/at a higher boundary the earth for humanity.

9:53 p.m. The evening session ended. The tape played was Chapter 11 from GC spirituality – as I listened to the threat -

→ The local theme continued. I Know that power is in "local" not regional. The secret to making the region work is to make it local. Regional can't work – really – it is just an "ism". To bound a region makes it local.

So in seconds my purpose had been turned inside out. The Local Development District

The challenge is multi-local human settlement patterns

The scale then is all local | Think local planet, act as humanity.

 – in the discussion session after the tape – people talked strategy – speaking the message, fireside chats, grassroots, etc.

→ I presented my thought as so: – "It is a political problem".

→ Go to Tip O'Neil, a great politician – "All politics is local".

Then I said – the need is to make earth the local planet, so people choose humanity as the ruler – not E.T.

Not much acceptance here – I was going to withhold as recorded earlier, but I sense this as an important strategy meeting – so I didn't hold back. I did continue to listen – another idea I noted was that, as a tribal culture – transmitting the ideas around the campfire was important. /visions of campfires recurs –/all along the watchtower

Humanity unplugged – as humanity. That our ancestors fought among each other is unimportant now. They did not know they were brothers/

→ More thought came with the listening. Michael .. said this afternoon this was the first spiritual gathering in 15 years where there were more men than women.

That this is a defense/military mission – requiring men – seemed clear and brought into focus many parts of my life –

→ the Thomas of Dykstra – visions

→ the response to bagpipes –

→ steely eyes – of war

→ removal of wounds that are psychic

→ Strategy and tactics –

→ good soldier

→ those instincts

On the reverse side – ACIM – as a distortion of a spiritual message –

– defense is a form of attack

Making sense of the New Message is an ongoing challenge for the Beginning Student. This early entry sums up the situation still: 9:29 a.m. I'm just not going to understand it all – my youthful goal – belief that when I died I'd "Know" about heaven and earth.

Not only is there inherently more to Life itself and life in the separation, but the stories and theories about the nature of life, reality and the intelligent, spiritual and dastardly human stories are even more convoluted now in 2015. Secret space programs a hundred years old, self-conflicted science, debt fueled economic distortions and enormously talented people, young up through 106, doing amazing things.

Let us continue. All of that can be encompassed by Knowledge within a temporary reality.
