“Today I receive the love of Knowledge.” Step 181 |
KNOWLEDGE POSSESSES THE TRUE SEED OF LOVE, not love
that is a mere sentiment, not love that is a form of intoxication surrounding
an urgent desire born of fear. Knowledge is the seed of true love, not the love
that seeks to conquer, to possess and to dominate, but the love that seeks to
serve, to empower and to free another. Become the recipient of this love today
so that it may flow through you to the world, for without your denial it will
most surely do this.
UPON THE HOUR, REPEAT THIS STATEMENT and feel its
full impact, regardless of the circumstance that you find yourself in. Allow
each circumstance to support your practice, and you will find that your practice
will have an increasingly potent effect on your external life. In your two
deeper practices today, enter into the presence of Knowledge and receive its
love. Affirm your worthiness and your receptivity. Relinquish your presumptions
about yourself and the world, and allow yourself to have an experience that
will demonstrate the truth beyond any assumption. This is your practice today. This
is your gift to yourself, to your world and to your Creator so that you may
receive the gift of love.
PRACTICE 181: Two 30-minute practice periods. Hourly
practice.
Note: “Knowledge
is the seed of true love…that seeks to serve, to empower and to free another.”

180 - I complain because I am lacking Knowledge

→Thesis: The
greater the degree to which States with substate regions have aligned state
program analysis and delivery with those regions, the greater the efficiency of
government and therefore a higher rate of economic growth.
Further,
as the aligned regions benefit States, they empower local governments for
cooperative problem-solving, and the regional alignments become the basis for
regional communities. This structure of data/geography/community can be used to
benefit citizens, nonprofits, business and industry as they operate at various
levels of regional geography and community.
Thus
– the future belongs to regions.

Practice
#2 – Step-179. A year ago, January 12, 2000 when I reached this step, I was in
a strange place. "Today I will thank the world for teaching me what is
true."
12:04
a.m. February 16, 2001 – Yesterday's practice, which I completed once, still
got me the lesson as I saw how in the new PDC team – I was no longer alone and
could accomplish more. It is strange – but I'm not hurt and can be more giving
to the world. I received many gifts from the world. It is a new perspective.
Mostly worldly work thinking this day, which
continues to grow as potential work in the world. As in the past, skip over
what does not meet your needs. The primary purpose of this Blog is to make the
Steps available on-line on a daily basis.
The Step page does have some notes. At the very top
in green ink, year one, is my attempt at a comical and ironic phrase: The world is
“Yes and Know.” Blue ink is
year two. Inserted in the first line is “Life stinks,” a strong complaint and therefore a strong call for Knowledge.
At the bottom: “All the world is a stage. The world has given me a
place to play my role. Some scripted, some improve. Connecting dots to make sense.
Doing this Step again today, June 29, 2015 – this phrase
stood out: “You are learning now to discover
your greatness and your domination over the world.” As far as the notion of one’s: “domination over the world,” this is the only place in the New Message materials
I have that such a thought appears. Let us continue.

Note: If you’ve some interest due to this or other
Steps, you should go to the beginning blog post. From here you will learn about Steps to Knowledge
and can begin it on the day that makes sense; then progress as needed. You can
use the posts on this blog as a companion if it helps. They will remain in
order in the archives - one post per Step.
Often it takes 18 months to get through the Steps
once. For this blog, the pace is one-a-day, but it really makes no difference
how fast you do it, only that you begin, persist and repeat. Posts here provide
a trail that may let you have a virtual companion when and if you want one. One
may have to study alone, as I did in the beginning. There are other Steps
students blogging their experience and you might find a person more like you as
a companion, or use a number of such Steps journeys. There are options as well
through the Free School of the New Message.
