I can only practice. Step 80

YOU CAN ONLY PRACTICE. Life is practice. We are merely redirecting your practice so that it serves you and so that it may serve others. You practice all the time, repetitively, over and over. You practice confusion, you practice judgment, you practice projection of blame, you practice guilt, you practice disassociation and you practice inconsistency. You strengthen your judgments by continuing to exert them. You strengthen your uncertainties by continuing to emphasize them. You practice your self-hatred by continuing to influence it.

IF YOU LOOK AT YOUR LIFE OBJECTIVELY but for a moment, you will see that your whole life is practice. Therefore, you will practice regardless of whether you have a curriculum for your benefit or not. Therefore, we give the curriculum which you may now practice. It will replace the practices that have confused and belittled you, that have conflicted you and that have led you into error and into danger. We give you a greater practice so you will not practice those things which undermine your value and your certainty.

IN YOUR TWO MEDITATION PRACTICE PERIODS TODAY, repeat the statement that you can only practice, and then practice stillness and receptivity. Strengthen your practice, and you will confirm what we are saying. You can only practice. Therefore, practice for good.

7:12 a.m. Monday, November 6, 2000 – Trying to picture the relationships GC paints. Spirit side watches the manifestation side. The manifest side has will/free will and is evolving/has been for – eons? – Spirits like myself come to manifest within the Earth environment. There are many.

Conscious spirituality seems to be an option – a learning which is needed in the world because birth/earth spell takes over/suppresses spirit consciousness.

Being/becoming more Spirit conscious enlivens and confuses me. I can do nothing alone. I am not alone. In what I seek to do…there are few that see of a similar path. This makes me even more self-conscious and fearful that I will fail/or that it is unnecessary. The latter is not true, so…my tiny path must be necessary.

I need to stay in body; increase my vitality and capture the ideas for their use by others. Cooperation is ultimately how humanity will deal with the future of GC.

There are powers, structures, people who are doing the present.

I seek the assistance of my spiritual family, unseen ones and guides to get my indolent self moving along my path.

8:13 a.m. Yes – I can live with uncertainty.

10:48 a.m. My job is not to do the work, but to see the work, see the regions.

11:14 p.m. S2K – "I will allow uncertainty to exist today." This was not difficult. It is a matter of faith –…to be uncertain & trusting. The text says: "Without judgment, you will realize your own true need." My true need is to Know – and nothing I've read, seen, heard - has given me Knowledge. This path explains.

David called from his new job. That was great…and I told him so.

This Step made sense. The journal entry continues the sense-making dialogue. More information is required. It will come. Let us continue.
