82 - I will not judge another today.

This is
the Right Reverend John, founder of the "Church of the Here and Now."
In this 2003 picture, he's using the pulpit I built for his church use in 1980,
when he left the PDC to start-up a new regional job training agency. He'd been
a priest, but dropped out to study law. He did not judge people, he served
them. He crossed over in 2006. He was a teacher.

a.m. November 9, 2000 – heading to Pennsylvania – late running as usual. No
time for Step exercise #1
Regional
cooperation – difficult – expectations high, resources low.
So because I was traveling,
not much recorded. In seeking a picture to illustrate this Step, I came to the
picture above. It gave me an opportunity to honor a great friend who had been a
teacher along the way. Since photographs do help in attracting attention, I've
begun using my own collection.
The goal
is to draw people to at least read a little of a Step practice, planting a seed
that might cause them to think of a little kernel of wisdom they read awhile
back. I know this happens, because I experienced in my life.This could be you dear reader.

I've changed the hashtag from #S2K (I began at the time of Y2K) to #Steps. The
goal is not a product tag, but one that draws others who are oriented to
practices that utilize Steps. I’d done Alanon 12 Steps, that for the co-dependent,
and A Course in Miracles, which has 365 practices. Some people like structure, so they
might give it a try.
At the same time, these are
people exploring, but not ready to be public and join the Messenger movement. You might be such a person; Great!
Living here in time does require that we construct some perspective of where we
are in the scheme of things. Having been a beginning student for 16 years, I've
gained some understanding. In the meantime, earth went from a 1999 population
of 6,004,000,000 to 7,215,000,000 now in 2015, an increase of 1,211,000,000.
For me, the challenge of recognition of our position in the Greater Community
is also the solution. Humanity must become a Greater Community.
The goal
is expressed in the Messages as the age of Human Unity and Cooperation. Humans
already cooperate to a high degree; otherwise we couldn't do anything at all.
More cross-boundary cooperation needs to be recognized. If we look at what is
the same among people, it is that they do cooperate. Competition is not the
problem. Competition makes us stronger. The playing field must be fair, so
competitors cooperate to make rules and enforce them. Steps to Knowledge - a
slow turning.
