Today: Step 25 - I am at one with the greatest truth of
life. (MP3)
I am at one with the greatest truth of life. Step 25 |
I
AM AT ONE WITH THE GREATEST TRUTH OF LIFE.
WHAT IS THE GREATEST TRUTH OF LIFE? It is something that must be experienced, for no great truth can be contained in an idea alone, though ideas may reflect it within your current experience. Great truth is a product of great relationship. You hold a great relationship with life. You hold a great relationship with your true Teachers who are within you. Eventually you will experience great relationship with those in your outer life, but first you must experience the source of your great relationship in its true establishment already. Then it is a matter of merely transferring it to the world outside, which you will do naturally in time.

IN
YOUR TWO PRACTICE PERIODS, practice feeling this relationship. Again you are
asked to receive because you must receive this to give it. Once it is received,
it will give of itself naturally. In the process of this your worth is
re-established because it is quite apparent. You do not need to misrepresent
yourself or your experience. To share a great love honestly means you must be
experiencing it. It is this experience that we wish to give you today.

24 - I am worthy of God's love.

a.m. Slow to engage in life this morning. The Step #24 – "I am worthy of
God's love," easily applies to others, but with difficulty to me. Planning
for the future and living in the present gets more difficult. I've lost my
inspiration? I'm bored with manifestation? I'm lazy and indolent. I'm confused
– so do nothing. I think, but thoughts go in circles. The rest of the world
does not seem so inflected. They pursue their interests.
Now
I feel I'm in the wrong place, but don't know how to get to the right place.
What I see and envision does not seem to fit the world on some days, yet on
others it does.
9:25
a.m. Where am I? Immersed in the projects of the day. The region, as an
organizing principle, remains invisible. I too feel invisible – yet needed as a
networker. Time is short – cooperation builds slowly. Where is life if not in
cooperative self management? "I am worthy of God's love." Why? Grace
10:45
p.m. I wish I could know, stay connected on a continuous basis. Working less,
working more – eating, eating, eating – so empty – w/o friends. What is next?
Why would I be committed to humanity?
The
idea that one, specifically is worthy of God’s love is hard even today. The
thought in 2000: “easily applies to others, but with difficulty to me,”
still occurs. I still do things wrong, think wrong, act wrong. Less so than in
the past, but still – still not perfect. Let us continue.

Note: If you’ve some interest due to this or other
Steps, you should go to the beginning blog post. From here you will learn about Steps to Knowledge
and can begin it on the day that makes sense; then progress as needed. You can
use the posts on this blog as a companion if it helps. They will remain in
order in the archives - one post per Step.
Often it takes 18 months to get through the Steps
once. For this blog, the pace is one-a-day, but it really makes no difference
how fast you do it, only that you begin, persist and repeat. Posts here provide
a trail that may let you have a virtual companion when and if you want one. One
may have to study alone, as I did in the beginning. There are other Steps
students blogging their experience and you might find a person more like you as
a companion, or use a number of such Steps journeys. There are options as well
through the Free School of the New Message.
