I will not let ambition deceive me today. Step 219

AS KNOWLEDGE IS NOW BEGINNING TO GERMINATE within you, do not allow your own ambition to deceive you. Your ambition is born of your personal need for recognition and reassurance. It is an attempt to counteract fear by controlling the opinions of others. Your ambition here is destructive, but like all other faculties of mind that are now misappropriated, in time it can serve the greatness of Knowledge. You have not achieved this state yet; therefore, do not attempt to do anything with your Knowledge, for it is not for you to use Knowledge but to receive Knowledge. It is in your receptivity to Knowledge that you will find Knowledge to be of the greatest service and usefulness to you.

DO NOT LET AMBITION PULL YOU WHERE YOU CANNOT GO. Do not let it misappropriate your vitality and your energy. Learn to become patient and calm with Knowledge, for Knowledge has its own goal and direction in life, which you are now learning to follow.

THROUGHOUT TODAY IN YOUR HOURLY PRACTICES and in your deeper meditations as well, allow yourself to be without ambition, for you do not know what to do with Knowledge. In your longer meditations, allow this to free you so that you may enter stillness and leave the world of physical things.

8:10 a.m. Where am I? One tiny soul, rattling around the small, but very comfortable house in Front Royal, Virginia – planet Earth, solar system? – Milky Way Galaxy. Universal Quadrant locator    ?    unknown.

> inside out looking in that direction, but not seeing. The sky is a firmament – only because the eye can't see beyond it. Firmaments are boundaries of vision/senses

Embodied and conscious, I am much smaller in the scheme of things than I imagined at first. Somewhat alert and navigating life – I sought a greater perspective on Creation and have found it. GCW is not complete, but it exceeds what I can now integrate, so it offers a path…and I choose to follow it.

9:35 a.m. "Local Planet, Regional Communities".

9:15 a.m. "I'm not smart, I'm just good at asking questions".

10:12 a.m. Preparing for Practice #1 – Step 218 – "I will hold Knowledge within myself today". Considering the sections on courage and compassion from GC W II.

My sense as a child was always that it is a bigger world. So now it is revealed how true that thought is, yet one cannot relate to the whole all at once – but begins with local pieces which are, in themselves immense. I/we hover @ a midpoint of→ complexity in either direction. So I center today with Knowledge at my state, date and place – as we flow…

11:18 a.m. After meditation and into the mundane work of the day – through the meditation was not mundane.

For Sarah – sometimes it takes more love to give up your baby – Bernice did that, David's mother did that – David wanted to keep his babies, Sarah wants hers. At the PDC – I've given up my babies – all that I've grown and nurtured.

Jesus and the lepers – if you are lucky, 1 in 10 will come back and thank you.

9:35 p.m. Hiked & meditated in the woods. Stopped short of Patience – at the stones on the opposite side of the hollow. Why? I have patience – need to work on something else – responsibility? – Virtue? Virtue seem to be the conclusion – but what does that mean? To do things because it is right – not for advantage – that is the test? Regional cooperation – but not for advantage.

– The future of cooperation – that's where we need to head for the sake of humanity – Whole – or unwholey the foundation for cooperation. Yes America – Cooperation Option –

Governance > self-governance at a new scale

Holding Knowledge within yourself, you can still write in your journal. Dealing with the past, which affects the present and future, even as the present gives new problems, are things one might hold. Why did I choose to incarnate? Let us continue.
